Off-Leash Dog Parks in South King County

Cedar River Dog Park
Located in Renton next to the Cedar River trail, this park has four acres of off-leash area for your dog to run and play.  The off-leash area is fenced and provides a section for small and shy dogs.

Grandview Off-Leash Dog Park
Grandview Off-Leash Dog Park is in the City of SeaTac, bordering the City of Kent. This is a non-profit volunteer initiative whose mission is to keep Grandview Dog Park an attractive, safe, and fun environment where dogs can play, socialize, exercise and train off-leash; and promote responsible dog ownership, thus enhancing the quality of life for dogs and their owners.

Genesee Park and Playfield
Genesee Park and Playfield is a broad, rough meadow that stretches for about 5 blocks north from Genesee Street to Stan Sayres Memorial Park on Lake Washington Boulevard. Set in a quiet neighborhood, the atmosphere is quite soothing. It contains a huge and open grassy area for a playfield. Genesee also has a fully fenced 2 1/2 acres off-leash area with double gates, a doggie drinking fountain and a kiosk for community notices.

Westcrest Park
Westcrest Park is a very large park. It has a view platform with a great panoramic view of the city skyline, flat open meadow, with a short walking path, and a dog off-leash area.

Dog-Friendly Trails in South King County

Flaming Geyser State Park - Auburn
Located in Auburn, this park offers trails, swimming, fishing and a number of other families and pet-friendly activities.

Duwamish Bikeway
Located in Seattle, this trail offers biking, inline skating and walking for  2.95 miles between 99 & Holden St. and West Marginal Way and SW Idaho St in Seattle.

King County Interurban Trail (South)
Located in Tukwila, this trail is 18.1 miles in length with end points at Green River Trail at Fort Dent Way in Tukwila and 70th Avenue in Fife.

Mud Bay
One of our favorite pet supply stores is Mud Bay. They have locations all across King County including Burien, Federal Way, Kent, and Redmond. Not only are they a fantastic pet supply store, but they also partner with many local animals shelters for charity. This company gives back to our community, and we like to support them in return.

Natural Pet Pantry
With two locations in Burien and Kirkland, Natural Pet Pantry is a Northwest native having started in 2000 making all natural pet foods.  In 2001 the flagship store was opened in Burien and Natural Pet Pantry has continued to grow. A Place for Pets
Also located in  Burien, A Place for Pets is a locally owned pet supply store offering a wide array of items for your pet.  They also host a  low-cost pet vaccine clinic the first Saturday of every month.

Located on Meeker Street in Kent serves craft beer and gourmet hot dogs. Sounds like a great place to bring the pup!

MARK Restaurant & Bar
Located at 918 SW 152nd Street in Burien, this restaurant offers a wide variety of menu items serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner 7 days a week.

Tin Room Bar
Located at 923 SW 152nd Street in Burien and claims to be "the hangout every neighborhood wishes it had: rich with history, gushing atmosphere, overflowing with regulars, and spot-on at delivering the very eats and drinks we crave."

Pit Stop Taproom & Pub
This fun spot is located at 216 SW 153rd Street in Burien. They offer beer on tap, an eclectic menu and a variety of games and actives to ensure a good time for all.

This is a locally owned training facility located in Kent. They offer group training classes as well as private, in-home training lessons.
